A territorial-scale mining asset in the Sierra de Valle Fértil, San Juan, spanning 9,694 hectares within the Oy geological unit — Famatinian Granitoids. The area sits within the Valle Fértil Magmatic Complex, host rock recognized as favorable for pegmatite bodies bearing quartz, feldspar, and mica.
The district has a significant historical track record: documented pegmatites immediately to the south (San Guillermo, Santa Amalia, Andacollo, El Chañar) and a regional reference of approximately 4,400,000 tons in situ across the sierra corridor. Provincial production of quartz, mica, and feldspar in San Juan exceeds 27,000 tons per year, with Valle Fértil and Caucete accounting for 47 registered mining projects, 17 of them tied to pegmatites with beryl and spodumene potential.
The recommended approach is a staged entry: field reconnaissance, geochemical sampling, satellite validation, and construction of a technical-commercial data room before any purchase, option, or partnership transaction. The asset's economic value will depend on the purity, volume, and continuity confirmed in certified assays — with possible end uses ranging from aggregates and ceramics to technical glass, solar, fiber optics, and high-purity electronics.
CONEQ coordinates access to technical information, cadastral surveys, asset documentation, and evaluation of investment or partnership scenarios for industrial, mining, and strategic investors.
